Kiper (lol) doesn’t have him going until 9. Parr, Edholm, and Zierlein all have Fano over Cici. That’s like half of the NFL networks scouting analysts. I think it’s dumb but it’s becoming more prevalent

If I’m the titans I’m taking Bain and trading back up for cici. Next year first rounders are going to be at an all time premium given the QB class and how many teams need QBs.

Drafting the qb first when you’re a mess as a franchise is like putting the cart before the horse . It rarely goes well. The one positive is the money they have free but I’m not sure Mendoza is the generational type to single handily change a franchise. I’m from the school of build the roster inside out . But I do like Mendoza.

Eh, you have 5 years on the rookie deal. It's not really that big of a deal tbh. Rookie Qb contracts are great to build a roster, but people put way too much weight into how beneficial it is to actually win a SB ON That contract.

you can't just keep kicking Qb can down the road as you "build" the rest of the team. And not having a Qb doesn't help at all with free agents either. Since Carr in 22 our last 3 starting Qbs have been Aidan O'Connell, Gardner Minshew, and Geno Smith. Going with another bum at QB and passing another year would just be disgusting in a year you have the #1 pick. period. It is what it is.

We just need to hope we draft well along side Mendoza, we make smart FA signings, and that he hits.

I mean could the Jets, Cardinals, or Maybe the Browns offer something that'd make sense taking? Yeah. but that would HAVE to be Before FA and would have to end with us signing like Malik Willis to like a 2 yr $70M deal or some ****.
