Bain "4" Heisman

With the rest of schedule, on paper, this can be Beck's to run away with. Heisman voters want gaudy numbers OR good numbers on a top team.

Bain would need to start filling up the "voting box score" to have a chance

If he wants to stay in heisman consideration he’s gotta start finishing these plays where he can get sacks. He’s had a sack in like 4 of the 5 games but they are only counting each one as 0.5 sack so that’s unfortunate

Love bain but a DE winning the heisman would be a miracle

Its also why he’s always ****ed when he misses a sack

Even being in the conversation in week like 7 is impressive. If he takes the trip as a finalist that would be extremely impressive.

Literally the only hope is all the QBs kinda continue on their average at best pace with the best QBs being on losing teams. Not sure any RBs are really producing like Heisman guys as someone like Live is in a shared backfield. But even with all that a WR would certainly be the front runner.

My guess right now for each position would be

QB: Maiava, Mateer, Robertson
RB: Hardy
WR: Lemon

My prediction today would be Maiava wins Heisman if they Beat Notre Dame this weekend

Maiava is a really good one. Right now he definitely looks to be a finalist. Depends on how he does against Oregon too, but obviously ND is the tougher defense.

I also didn't realize Nebraska is ranked now too. USC plays them in a few weeks.

Plus Lincoln + USCs heisman history. He’s easily the qb on a good team that I’m most confident in just having great stats
