The NCAA could absolutely ban it. If you are working at a factory that prohibits the use of weed in a weed legal state, and they can terminate you with cause, certainly the NCAA can do the same with student-athletes.

You make a good point. I don't think the NCAA would test for it, however, if it was legal. Just like they don't test for alcohol. The problem with weed is it stays in your system like 2-4+ weeks depending on THC potency, your body fat, and what type you're consuming (edibles, wax, flower, etc). I just don't see the NCAA testing kids for something that could appear weeks after ingested and is a federally legal substance.

I get what you are saying, and want to beat UF in a bad way, but you can make just as strong of an argument that UNC big picture is more important. UF obviously for the rivalry, recruiting and statement. Also, our guys could just not be ****** and stay out of trouble.
