Bad Losses

According to USA Today the discussion now has to be Texas vs ND. Their words, not mine…..The Miami vs ND discussion has already been addressed and it’s over. Texas beat A&M. If they didn’t play OSU week 1 they’d only have 2 losses so that would make them 10-2 and they’d be in.

Sadly there is no way we can compete with this media narrative bs until we get out of this trash conference.

I would just like to point out that:

-Texas A&M gave up 46 combined points to UTSA and Utah St
-They beat Auburn, Arkansas, and USEe, 3 teams that are a combined 2-20 in SEC play, by a combined 10 points
-They we're down 30-3 to 4-7 USCe
-Was a 1 score game with UF in the 4th
-Was a one score game with 4 minutes left in the 3rd against Miss St
-Notre Dame missed an extra point and A&M converted a 4th and goal as time expired to win

They are a 9-3 team masquerading as a top team.
This is happening at every P4 conference. Teams are getting to avoid the top teams in their league based on the number of teams. Look at UVA and GT they played exact one or two of the top half of the league. Same with Duke. Same with Indiana and OSU in the big 10.

I rented a truck from Home Depot so I can take some junk to the city landfill in the morning. We took off all closet doors and replaced them. We decked out garage and turned it into a home gym so the pallets the equipment was delivered on needs to go. An old bookshelf my wife replaced. And some bags of leaves we raked up in the yard have to go.

I’ll have more **** in the back of the Home Depot truck than the **** I’m reading on this board tonight. Go to bed, fellas. It’s gonna be alright.
Clearing stuff out is very satisfying. I'm happy for you.

This narrative about Texas playing Taint and losing so they should get credit for it is stupid. If you check the ranking they are already getting credit for that. They are the highest ranked 3 loss team, even ranked above 2 loss ACC teams (besides Miami). Don't lose to 3 win UF and you're in even with the Taint loss. **** they would probably have a chance at the SECCG if they didnt. So yes, you should be punished for losing 3 games. Has nothing to do with the Taint game alone.

Good luck with that. Must be a Texas writer.

If Texas loses every 4th game to both good teams and bad teams, what have they done for committee to say "yeah we trust you, you're in". Answer: there is no way in **** they are in if both Miami and Alabama win. Now if we lose, Bama loses and BYU loses then they may get in but they need more help then us.

Texas won’t jump us. If anything them winning makes NDs win against TAMU less impressive. Now imagine if USCe also beat TAMU..

Guys, just take care of business at Pitt and I have a feeling things will work out.

I’m predicting a rematch against SMU in Charlotte. Let’s see what happens today.

If we beat Pitt tomorrow (we ******* better), they way I heard Sark tonight is exactly how I want to hear Mario tomorrow making a passionate argument for his team. Sark did what he was supposed to do post game.

I better hear the same out of Mario. I don’t want to hear some “well, we did our job and won and we will see what happens with the committee” type of bull****.
Or Mario just looks right into the camera and says “any team who lost to Florida shouldn’t be in the CFP” then nothing else. Would be a perfect way to troll UF and Sark in one sentence.

That’s what I’ve seen on the little I’ve read. Basically Texas isn’t jumping anyone unless the teams in front of them lose. I was just annoyed they were ranked #16 to begin with. They were unranked after getting slaughtered by UF, then somehow shot back into the top 10, then got blown out by UGA and the SEC butt pirate announcers were talking about how the UGA game was close. ******* JOKE

This is just a bad opinion piece and I’ve read the exact opposite from other more reliable sources. Texas isn’t getting the nod over us if we win today. This post was premature rage but justified rage because Texas shouldn’t be considered in this CFP discussion considering they have 3 losses, one being to a team with 3 wins.

You know what else is a bad loss? Losing to FSU by 2 TD like Alabama did.
We beat FSU, who beat Alabama.
We beat UF, who beat Texas.
We beat ND.

But we're the only one of the 4 whose bad losses matter.
Our losses aren't bad. One is a T25 team and the other was until injuries happened and were by one score. Similar to last year.

They kept us out last year because we had no good wins. Now we do and its the bad losses now.
