Backup plans for DB position!

Why would we need to bring in anyone:

Out - Elder, Colbert

In - Bandy, Dean, likely Deejay.

All 3 of those guys can play right away. Maybe we go after a grad transfer if they want Deejay at WR, otherwise we should be okay until the 2018 guys arrive

Malek Young is a future 1st round pick.

Jhavonte Dean will start on other side.

Trajan Bandy and Sheldrick Redwine provide depth.

Deejay Dallas will play CB if we miss on Henderson.

Ivins has said that the staff are going to start him out at WR. Not much harm in bringing a one a done deal as a depth guy and he could potentially end up like Colbert.

I am watching it which is why the question has been posed! We just lost our defensive backfield for the next 4 years! Whoosh.... gone!
you are overreacting. we have 2 safeties in carter and smith, they have landed 2 cbs in bandy and dallas, plus young from last year redwine , Jackson and mayes for year before, depth is ok , and dallas and bandy aren't bad, so db class not so bad, and the one position they really needed to nail they did oline

Our back up plan is not to have a back up plan. We don't need one. We will be fine. We had a nice year but you can't expect for us to be embraced by local kids because of it. We win the ACC next year and things will start to turn in our favor.
