What’s the next technology we’re missing? Or are we caught up for now?

my bean counter logic is that Baseball NiL really isn’t very much and $5M yearly would probably put us at the very top top of anyone for baseball NIL spend. Wouldn’t be surprised if we were doubling or even tripling some/most TOP programs at that amount t. Therefore you’d get elite players. Elite players with the facilities we ALREADY have is clearly the best use of resources. Let’s not act like our facilities are hs level. They’re good enough. And we just invested in more scientific/analytic hardware for development...
The days of "Throw all your money at facilities" are coming to an end, why? BECAUSE YOU CAN PAY PLAYERS NOW. The ONLY reason the facilities arms race heated up was because you had these huge programs with millions of dollars lying around and they had to say "Hey, we can take care of you", and the easiest way to do that(and also show that you're "breaking even") was to spend on facilities. There's a reason why colleges consistently have nicer facilities than their professional counterparts, it's because in the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL, you have to pay the actual labor.

Make sure the facilities are FUNCTIONAL and up to date, take the rest of your money and pour it into your development and support staff, and NIL. If you have the best talent and a staff with the resources to maximize said talent, you'll win more often than not.
