Back home, Im tired, my voice is shot and groggy....

The thing I'm telling you guys, it was even loud against GT and Syracuse and those games were not filled. Maybe 50k. That place is loud. And it was cranked up a notch v VT so I can only imagine last night. That was the only home game i couldn't make. So far and will be at UVA. I was at home having all kinda regrets when I saw and heard the atmosphere. All i can say is, if you live in a decent range and don't make it to these games. After all we been through since 2004, you are missing out on something great. I was laughing all week when ND fans kept telling me the crowd was gonna be 1/3 domers, some even went as far as 50/50 like Nudicksel.

Supa, even the tailgaiting scene was insane, people get lit up all over the place, LOL. Its not your typical college atmosphere but it's perfect for Miami/South Florida.

One thing last night really showed is that the Hurricanes aren't just about the University but the whole city/region and its fans across the country. This is one of the most memorable games Ive ever been to. It was something special

It hit me that I went to last years ND game in South Bend and last night. Amazing how far the program has come as you bookend those two games...

No doubt about it. The best thing about this team is we are playing our best ball in November, that's coaching man. We just have to support these players. We got rid of Golden and the staff and players are delivering. We are playing in a great venue that will be a challenge to opposing teams.

Great time meeting you! I could talk Canes football for hours, I wish I had more time in the weekend

Great post.

As a self avowed OB fanatic I ( until this year) hated the vibe at JRS/DS/ whatever other name that thing had, missed the OB, and felt that remaining at JRS/DS would be the death knell for us.

But...

The atmosphere began to change a bit last year, the roof made the noise level higher and gave the place a cozier feel, and Sat night , to me, Officially passed the torch from the OB to Hard Rock. It took a while but the place has finally earned the right to be called the Home of the Canes.

Austin, next time we will. Lemme know if you can make it to the ACC title game, we're having a big gathering up in Charlotte. But regardless, we'll do it again soon

U2, I agree and I think the constant name changes of Joe Robbie Stadium(I always thought of it as that) was very symbolic of the lack of identity that venue had. But now it just really does feel like the home of the Miami Hurricane. It's ironic to me that the biggest and most memorable events in that stadium have involved the Canes and not the Phins

Tip of the cap to Mr Ross for his renovations. It's a great place to watch a football game

I thought our redzone was really solid on Saturday.
Didn't we have 6 trips...

4 TDs, 2 FGs ?

IloveTD's, you're absolutely right, I should've phrased that better, I still think our power running game in short-yardage/goal line is a bit problematic. But as I mentioned, they are getting more creative in addressing this issue
