I have some nice seats this year.... any way just my observations on a lil bit of everything

Mark Walton..... not gonna lie he has much more explosion this year even my boys form OT who ive argued with all from last year admitted he has gotten faster.. Then again this was aganst FAU and FAU all had mostly big slow linebackers FAU was very slow on defense it was easy to see they are very slow.. as we have all said about our RB's lets see him do this against the big boys..but yea I was impressed

Yearby he's the same guy as last year those long runs he had against FAU wont be there against good teams. He hasnt improved much from last year. He had a solid game

Kaaya looks out of sync... I really dont know whats going on with him he looked very frustrated everytime he came off the field.. Yea he felt a lil pressure but everything he threw was high or overthrown. just like in the FAMU game he looked out of sync.. Coley was especially frustrated with Kayaa he looked mad after the game

DLine
Obviously the strength of this team They couldnt run for ****...we dominated the line of scrimmage I remember last year FAU gashed us for like 300 yards running..THIS IS A VERY DIFFERENT DEFENSE. So refreshing to see dogs attacking but we definitely need Moten and Jenkins and Harris (back at full strength) in the rotation..The DLine got kind of gassed towards the 4th qtr You could tell, dont know if you could notice it on TV

FAU dropped a lot of passes tonight only thing scares me about our defense is giving up a big play on a screen because of our blitzes a better team will take advantage of this but man we are so aggressive... such a difference from DOnofrio... We are so much better on defense this year

Pinckney, Chad and Jaquan looked like the best players on the field....Jenkins gives up another TD on a missed tackle I dont trust him at all

Kickoff team scares me only dudes running down there with reckless abandoned are Homer and Gus there were plenty of lanes all night

Berrios appears to not be in the game plan at all....dont even remember him being targeted... and his Pr's he did not impress today

Crowd's at the stadium have never been this big since we have moved out of the orange bowl...very inspiring.... There were more people against FAU then there were against clemson last year... everything is louder even the cannon is louder and scares the **** outta of you

overall things looking up if Kaaya can get his head out of his ***..

WIth this defense and no more serious injuries and assuming our injured players return..If Kaaya plays like hes capable of this is a 9 or 10 win team If he plays sporadic and inconsistent like he always has this is a 7-8 win team... This team is all on Kaaya even though our defense is much improved we dont have the depth to ride them to ann ACC castal champiomship... WE gonna need Kaaya to win us games

Both out safties worry me. Carter lacks the instincts and Jenkins needs to learn how to wrap up. His tackling fundamentals are awful.

Go Canes!

I pretty much echo what u said, but I will add.

Special teams: coverage units looked horrible. Very Golden esque. I'm not sure if that is because of low roster numbers, effort, or a green Coach (Hartley). Kicker and field goal units are abysmal.

Njoku: he must be reading Canesinsight... Hea not performing at a high level.

Penalties: especially the offense. We took 1 step toward and 2 steps back all night.

Diaz: my only gripe was his Donofrio esque soft zone on many 3rd and longs. Teams like FSU, NC, ND will burn us if we run that.

The Coastal is down this year...

UNC had a dogfight with Illinois, even though they pulled out late & put up up TD's, the score was 31-24 at the top of the 4th quarter.

Pitt let Pedo St hang around and almost lost...

Duke lost to Wake Forest, LMAO!!! That old windbag ****cliffe probably called Peyton and cried on the phone to him.

GTech is GTech, they ain't winning sh*t in the Coastal.

Va Tech is nothing special, they have some speed on Offense, but can't stop the run for sh*t, they gave up 239yds rushing vs Tennessee; Walton & Yearby will eat.

Also, the Defensive gameplan is indicative of the opponent we're playing. We're not going to play the exact same way for every single game vs every single offense we face.
We played jailbreak style all out blitzes vs FAU because Driskel can't handle that type of pressure, against more highly potent offenses we're not just going to send 8 & 9 man fronts, we'll play a lot of drop back Zones & run a lot of delayed stunts.

I wouldn't be too worried because if you're assuming that we're going to play like how we played vs FAU against every other team we play this year then that's just plain foolish. Different opponents dictate different game plans & result in completely different outcomes.

About the Dline getting gassed, well that's what happens when you don't have depth. This is going to be one of the biggest problems for us, not just at DL, but throughout the roster. 4th quarter against FSU we'll see how much our lack of depth hurts us.

Berries just got a PR TD last game. Don't trip on his return skills because he didn't return one both games. I think Corn is our best returner but I'm not really tripping. In important situation Corn should probably be back there though. Obviously we can't risk Coley being back there. Bruce likely will get action as a returner, but he's suspended. I'm not very worried about our returners.

DLine was gassed because they were on the field all 1st half because the offense couldn't move the ball.
FAU had 28:00 minutes of T.O.P, we had a ton of 3 & outs on Offense, therefore causing the Defense to be on the field more often than they should, which results in them getting tired. Depth isn't as big an issue on the DLine as it is on other areas of the roster.

Your take on Yearby is draped in hate based on how much you put Gus on a pedestal.

I thought we were a 10 win team with Brad Kaaya playing good ball. He is simply not playing good ball right now. I think they need to get him comfortable in a hurry, because something is WAY off with him. He looks rusty as ****, and there is no excuse for that. I don't understand why they aren't targetting Berrios AT ALL. Best way to snap a QB out of a funk is by letting him throw to his go to guy. I just don't get the lack of touches for BB.

But hey, had you told me we'd look that bad on O and walk away with a 28 point win, I'd have laughed at you. As bad as we were, it wasn't a close game. Our D is good, and will get better with guys returning. Just very concerned about Kaaya. Something looks wrong, and it's not just the O-line. HE looks off.

Well for starters , 3 key guys Trent Harris, Jenkins and moten didn't play so that's what makes this performance of the dline even more encouraging. We weren't at full strength and STILL dominated. It's a welcomed site period

Kaaya looks like he's on prozac out there. No fire, no energy...just going through the motions. Don't get the guy. Still think he's a Goldenized zombie....."same player ever day"...yada yada yada.

This is against FAU. What happens when we play FSU, UNC, VTECH, ND? You don't think we will be in situations where our offense isn't doing **** and our D has to play a lot more than they should? The DL is the most important unit, and we happen to not have as good depth as we did a month ago. Lb depth is terrible, but we can mask that by going nickel. If corn gets hurt we are kinda **** at CB. S is fine but if Jaquan has to slide back at safety it screws us since he's our starting nickel CB.

I fully expect our defense to not be so great in 4th quarters. Even if we are extremely well conditioned, having no depth won't be good. When we beat FSU it'll be because our defensive guys left absolutely nothing in the tank.

I will add more game thoughts in am but Roof sprung a leak and for 400 mil doesnt seem to work when it rains hard. And if anybody knows anybody can they tell whoever controls the video boards that at football games you show replays! They didnt show any replays unless there was a challenge. None of the big hits or anything, wtf?!

That kinda messes with the gameday experience but I really think it sucks in a big game if the coach needs to decide to challenge a play but they dont show them on the screen, we get kiss cam and the like. You got these super hd screens and we got paris hilton trivia guys!

What happens when we play those other teams? Who TF knows, that's why they play the game...
Different situations dictate different circumstances, some games will be good & others will be bad, that's football.
No team plays perfect every single game... We could just as easily assume that our offense will play much better in those other games which would then mean our DLine isn't on the field as much. Regression to the mean doesn't always have to be negative, you can just wait until the game is played... Or not.
