Got in Friday afternoon hit the streets met tons of cane fans. went out that night till about 1 and partied hard with everyone. Miami totally dominated the bars everywhere we went. Beautiful small modern city. Stayed at the hotel where the team was staying. the players and coaches were very low key and serious. Was a little weird compared to other Bowl type Games where we stayed at the team hotel. Couldn't get a read on whether that was good or bad.

We totally dominated GameDay.

The game. Clemson fans showed up big late but we were loud early.

Clemson drives right down the field for TD. OK defense usually starts slow.

We were all looking forward to the complete Miami playbook with tons of motion, counters, bubbles, flanker screens as my friends were in agreement that the standard 2 set offense would not get the chains moving. OK Rosier rolls right and Thomas is wide open. its under thrown and Thomas doesn't fight for the ball. I got a bad feeling. We never saw any motion, bubbles, flanker screens or any screens until we left after Thomas 2nd or 3rd fumble. I was very disappointed in the game plan.

My take is as much I think CMR is the right head coach here I believe he/we desperately needs an OC to help him. His game plan of out executing a team with more talent on the other side of the ball is disturbing to me. WTF is wrong with some GD motion? You create spaces with motion, the guys upstairs take notes on their reactions and it forces their defense to make decisions some of which will be poor ones.

Who is gonna tell him?
He scares me

I have to say I was surprised at how long it took to see DeeJay Dallas in the Wildcat. Then when it happened, we had success! Then of course, Rosier overthrows on the long bomb and it gets put away. I still thought Dallas threw the Tigers for a loop.

It was sad walking through the airport today, but people were still sporting there UM gear.

Voila! Coach Mark Richt should have went to the Wildcat when Miami was down 14 points ( But that's all moot now. dUh. ). Not that it would have matter. Because mighty Clemson was going to win the game!

The bottom line: Miami LOST it's magic against lowly Pittsburgh, and NEVER regained it's ' mojo ' and all that. hUh.

Would have been nice if the refs noticed or the announcers at least acknowledged that the DB hit Thomas before the ball got there and then pulled him down by his facemask.

I don't think the refs were the reason we lost obviously but they **** sure didn't help.

And ... our OL was holding their D Linemen all night long, for dear life. Not that it did any good.
