B. Smith is taking over the slot for X and he is already shown to have reliable hands and, of course, the game breaking ability. If he can catch the ball 5 times and have at least one splash play without fumbling it (not that he has a problem doing that), then I like our chances.

B. Smith and the TE's are key for moving the chains and loosening things up for the run game to be effective enough.

If K. Smith, Jacolby, Mello or Frank want to step up and make some plays, that would be alright too. And, if Redding can get us at least 2 1st downs, I like our chances.

I went back to look at his commit thread to see if I was trippin, but If you read thru Brashard commit thread, he was probably one of the biggest commits I can remember as far as out pour from locals to even players on rival teams. You would see people post like he was a cant miss prospect and big play threat. There are not many players who got 100% love like this kid, when he committed it was a HUGE surprise and cause an uproar..

I look forward to him really getting a chance to put on in the natural scheme of the offense and not just put in to be a gadget player.. He hasnt really got alot of PT so it sucks to put soo much pressure on kid in this situation but he got to make the most of his opportunity.

Good write up. I will repeat Santana repeating the Playmaker, "Big Time Players step up in big time games." Let's hope he's one of those.

Appreciate the link, was just thinking earlier I wanted to go back and remind myself of his recruitment and the consensus about his talent and potential impact.

In other words, if he were a high school senior right now, would we be saying “****, if we only had THAT GUY in our corps with DVD right now, then we’d be set!”

Scanning that thread, there’s hardly any doubt.

Hope he gets some opportunities and shines.

May have already been posted elsewhere but gaby put this up today. Someone needs to step up and have a big game

I think melo should be in the slot too
Interesting. I always felt like he should be on the outside. Hey, wherever the man can make plays is where I want him. Just make plays, young man.

If Im a betting man I would bet on it being a RB before a WR based on what we have seen, our HC and Restrepo being out. Maybe rooster all purpose

I see them using Knighton a lot in the passing game.

Heard someone say they played him everywhere and he’s our most twitchy wr so I think he should get the most touches

Rooster rushes for 100. As good as Parrish has been, there’s still a difference when Rooster is in there. His speed and elusiveness pops off the screen when he’s in the game.

However, I completely agree on Smith. He’s been here long enough to know what to do. This is a huge opportunity for him to shine and basically demand more reps moving forward.

And let’s be honest, we need him to step up.

Need a big time game from the WR corps, who better than Smith to produce a game tomorrow night that we will talk about for a while.

I would say watch out for the three amigos they’ve been patiently waiting for there number to be called

I was thinking the same thing. But we got to open this **** up n open it up early. Throw first n run second. In the pound they ***'s. That's what we been working on the last 2 weeks. Of course protection is a must.
