Long story, dude. In my Washington DC office I was the resident expert on soul music and '60's R&B. The Black secretaries said I was the wrong race. I knew everything...still trying to figure out where all the clubs in Miami were, Overtown or Liberty City. Watching the Masters, Sam & Dave, on YouTube. Got their start in the Miami clubs in the early '60's.



Anybody old enough to remember the chitlin circuit who lived in the deep South might remember WLAC radio in Nashville....it was the voice of R&B throughout the South in the '60's. I'd listen every night from Florida....Joe Simon, O.V. Wright, trying to remember who else.

Was it Betty Wright who was from Miami?



Nope, I won't be there....watching on TV from Maryland.

JJB = A white guy, and it’s obvious by the way he writes. Just look at the slang he’s attempting to use and the word placement. It’s way off.........and he doesn’t cut/shorten words in certain spots.
