Can you elaborate?
Probably the fact that he has a red shirt on, which means no contact, which means he still has a long way to go before being ready for a game. He needs to practice to visualize on the field what he needs to do and get more accustomed to the speed of the game, so next year he is ready to challenge for the job.

Any chance we can get spy photos of other key players practicing? It would help reduce anxiety for tomorrow's game in terms of COVID eligibility.

I recognize the photo wasn't taken today cuz its a travel day but hopefully it was taken this week.

Just asking for a friend...

In my opinion, and probably the majority of people including the physicians, don't press him this year. Let him run around and get a feel for practicing between the lines, getting his helmet on, walkthrough/half speed no contact reps. I would be beyond shocked if he gets touched this year.

He is a true freshman, so no matter what, he can definitely play this year if he’s up to it. If he were a corner back, I would really be pushing him to play. I still would like to see him get on the field if he’s able to, but safety is less an area of need then corner back.

If this is his first few days practicing he would have to go through the normal acclimation period that every other player does. If the doctors clear him for contact then go for it. This isn't sewing, it's football.

Manny says since the kid hasn’t been practicing really not in optimal football shape to be pressed into playing. “We’ll see how he progresses physically”
