The kid was injured in the second game of the season. Threw some picks in that game against Kentucky. Came back and won the game for his team. Simmons has a high ceiling, big arm, and has a high IQ. If he's brought in to compete for the job he can certainly win it.

What I observed this year is he does throw the ball in traffic and had a handful of interceptions early in the year and he does not run much
That’s one of the reasons Chambliss took off with the job and never lost it
