Canes offered last week (March 19) before Austin was ranked by any recruiting service. Although he's still currently unranked on the composite, Austin debuted as #11 on the Rivals 2028 list. Got his first P4 offer on Feb 24 and has blown up over the last month.

Drops from #11 to #15 on Rivals and is now a composite 5*. 247 has initially ranked him as a 4*.

 
These kids are moving faster along in their recruitments nowadays. Seems like football recruiting is going the way of baseball.
