Don't want to be guilty of throwing the thread off course lol. But we will hammer this one out if said dominoes start to fall.
 
The cold hard truth is they should've kept Coach Malzahn for another year. Now they're looking into 5th and 6th options. Smh. Auburn thinks they're Bama but everybody else in the world knows they aren't.

Waiting another year would've been beneficial for Auburn, to allow more potential coaching candidates appear. They would've save a ton of money on just the buyout alone.

That ain’t desperate Midlo, that’s a ******* home run hire for them. That dude was able to beat a bama two years in a row and was as close as you can get from doing it three years in a row at freaking ole miss who ain’t ever won ****. Imagine what he can do at a national championship program like Auburn.
 
Some are claiming this was their first choice. Well, a mega booster. AD and President are a no. With everything that has happened maybe AD and President changing minds.

hoing to see how he handles the big leagues. He better get some recruiters on that staff. Going from Idaho to the phucking $EC ain’t no joke. His offense should be pretty good I would think

Yeah; the toleration in Idaho is way different than SEC country, especially w/ Auburn who have a bit of an inferiority complex to Bama.
