ATTRITION

Gordinier has to have exhausted all of his HSA funds at this point. Can’t see him coming back just to tear his ACL again.

Obviously we have 1 more game but when I look forward to next season I start to wonder if the following will transfer of be shown the door:

Knowles
McCray
Finley
Gray
J. Jones
Fines
Cager
marshallrc13

There are more but these I think are the main ones that don't seem like they are progressing and will probably never contribute.

Fixed

You might be the dumbest person I know.

There's a good chance many of those guys I mentioned aren't here next year. Someone save this and let's readdress this in the spring.

If we were at or near 85, I’d agree with some. But we’re about 12 under. Cut a bunch of those guys and we’re still at 75. Most will be kept unless they want to transfer for more playing time.

I don't think we'd necessarily cut them due to that. I was thinking many of them would try and go somewhere else to get playing time as they have been here 3 or 4 yrs now and contribute nothing. I am sure they all think they have skills would probably be best served going to FIU, FAU, USF, etc..

Just personal opinion here: In addition, to other mentioned.

Knowles looked lost out there after these years at the U. After the problems earlier this year he was benched. The depth coming in 2018 and 2019 will mean even less playing time. I look for him to transfer out on his own due to this. A. Carter is here, Derrick Smith plus the incoming guys. His chances of much playing time at safety virtually nill.

Finley is listed at 205 but of you at him compared to guys who are supposed to be about the same height and weight he looks huge in comparison (possible 215-220). Benches 380 so I look for LB for him. Was a track guy that ran 200m in 22.7 range so plenty fast enough for LB.

Bar Milo has not even see game action like Mahoney.

Another who may opt out on his own due to not seeing the field this year and the stud incoming class is Dionte Mullins. He was complaining about playing time earlier this year.

Trey Johnson and George Brown as unknowns. The quality of OL-men we had from last year's class and now this 18 class they may see the handwriting on the wall if they do not develop after 2018 season and move one.

Burns? Not from a talent standpoint but injury one.

With extra schollies probably opening up look for a top HS or JUCO punter to be brought in. Cannot afford to go with just this guy.

I get where the Cager critics are coming from but I’m holding out hope that he will contribute in a meaningful way the next two years. I like his fire and upside.

Feagles isn’t going anywhere. Stop.

Dionte Mullins? Uh, he’s already gone, dude.

Feagles. Get him the FOH

Please God.

We better be recruiting a punter.

That punt vs Clemson was on Hartley. WTF are you rolling your punter to the right? That's not what Feagles does. Overall, very disappointed in our ST unit.

Hartley is trash too, but the roll out punt is very common in college. allows coverage to get down field. it's also a type of punt used when a team knows they have a below average, or in our case HORRIBLE, punter.
