Obviously we have 1 more game but when I look forward to next season I start to wonder if the following will transfer of be shown the door:

Knowles
McCray
Finley
Gray
J. Jones
Fines
Cager

There are more but these I think are the main ones that don't seem like they are progressing and will probably never contribute.

Probably a couple will go. Bar Milo is an OL I haven't heard anything about yet after 3 years here. Maybe he'll find his way back to Cali.

Probably a 4th year guy or two who hasn't done much yet.
 
No way they urge Choc to move on. Thousands of fans go to UM games just to see if Choc get a carry. Choc is a legend.

im not big on cager but neither he nor finley deserve to be shown the door.
 
We've seen glimpses of what Cager can do. I don't want to give up on him, I hate giving up on tall receivers who can in theory be great red zone threats.

Rosier if Richt opens up the QB job and he doesn't win.

LOL @ Cager leaving or being shown the door. That aint gonna happen. He and Langham should be fighting for that other WR spot alongside Richards.

Why didnt anyone put Sheriffs on the list? He is definitely a candidate to transfer if he gets passed by Perry after Spring ball. I dont see him staying around to be 3rd string or worse through the summer.

Finley getting passed by DSmith isnt helping him unless they have plans to make him an OLB. But I still like the kid.
 
Probably about the right amount. Could see Rosier moving on if he loses job in Spring (Evan too). Don't see Cager leaving, might move Finley down in the box. Choc is a wildcard. I think he's allowed to finish.
 
Generally speaking, if you're on the 2 deep, or are in your 3rd year in the program or are a STs key guy, you're not going to be shown the door. There are 2 types of attrition - guys that want more PT and move on or guys that are about to graduate and are politely told by the coaches that they should move on.

I can see these guys as candidates:

Knowles
McCray
Milo
Gray
Finley
Gordinier
Martin
Fines

Maybe even Sherriffs.

Right. if fans understood cager is just a tall target and not the love child of randy moss and calvin johnson, its cool. His expectations are too high. You cant have a wr rotation that needs alot from langham, cager, and dayall. one of those guys is fine though. elite programs cant have all three.
 
Just send Kiffin and a Butch the list.Im sure they’d be happy to take a few of them and the kids wouldn’t have to move their stuff very far........win / win for everyone.

Cager isn’t transferring. He will be potentially starting in the spring with AR out. The others plus Sheriffs should go. I say we take 30 recruits this year with all the talent in 18.
 
I'm still trying to find out why Fines was in the Uber line after the VaTech game. Sheesh.
 
why would we cut people when we have 73 man roster out of 85.... if they want to leave they will but outright cutting them creates more depth issues. (thanks shapiro and golden)
