Attendance

Everyone talking about moving people to higher priced sections including donations for the benefit of optics on tv needs to let me know what donations they are looking to do to offset reducing the costs for those sections in general or how to not **** of people who paid a premium for those seats

And also, again - essentially the entire lower bowl except for some visiting team allocation is ALREADY SOLD FOR SEASON TICKETS. People don’t show up - but you can’t just be like hey y’all go take those seats
I explain this every single year. We sell a ton of season tickets. They dont translate 100% to asses in seats.

On the topic of 'atmosphere', why are we blasting Suavemente so loud over the speakers that it sounded like I was at an Elvis Crespo concert through the TV. I know this has been debated ad nauseam, but the DJ is terrible. The music, at the right time, has to get the players hyped, get crowd engaged. It may sound like I'm complaining, but its little details like that make a difference. Most of the players, recruits, etc can't relate to the majority of the songs being played.

OOC games against non P4 opponents in this economy? Surely you don't expect us to drop $500-1000 every single weekend on games like this.

In an ideal world for these games only sell the lower levels I agree.

I also feel like the school or stadium could do more to help the pregame experience and make it a full day instagramy event for people. Something like a giant Oktoberfest-esque tent set up in one or two of the lots for shade, with food vendors and places to hang.
We have a partial roof. Selling only the lower deck significantly reduces crowd noise and home-field advantage.

Looked that way on tv huh? My favorite part of our fanbase is the one that "would be there every game" if they lived closer. Their loyalty can't be questioned.

Hard rock with those suite huge seats on home 50 also sucks “optically”
Absolutely. Golden Cane and 72 Club people are usually walking around inside. Their section has amazing amenities inside. It's like being in a sports bar.

We punch well above our weight in attendance. It's nearly always 98% Canes fans who have to fill it, as no one except FSU and Clemson bring any significant away contingent.

Which is why if one day we get to big ten that will change - local alums and snowbirds and the one “road trip” game for others

Compared to when I went to the GT & A&M games last year, the DJ was much better.
