Attendance This Week

No reasons not to go with the covered stadium. All I used to hear was " man if it was covered it shaded" well.....

You might bake a little in the parking lot tailgating but so what you'll hit some shade once you go in

Anyone reading this that lives south of Orlando that doesn't go is a piece of ****.

I don't think so, but that would be great. Get so tired of hearing SEC homers talk about our attendance (or lack thereof). Those guys are serious attendance nerds

Both of the fau and famu games we played last year was packed. Probably will be the same especially for the opener

why? (but, since we're all doing this, 58,000 tickets had been sold as of last week).

Where did you see that #?

At canes fest I spoke to the staff selling season tickets and and they said they were over 56k sold as of the the day before. Not too far of a stretch that another 2k were sold since then. He also said they expect a sell out for 2018 season tickets.
We byke?

Smh. you guys never learn. We have this argument every year. And every year I win running away. We are playing an HBCU!!! With a solid alumni base! Not as big as FAMU but ****..big enough..they will put 10k in the stands. We will bring about 45-50k..So I suspect about 60k tops granted there is no rain. Mark it down.

It's still South Florida on a Saturday afternoon. So I expect ' half ' the stadium to be empty. hUh. Nevertheless, at least I'll know who the TRUE Miami, Florida Hurricane fans are!

I give ' 1:2 ' odds that the OFFICIAL in-house attendance is not close to 60,000!

Even when the Canes were a legitimate Top 5 team, the passe' OB never was sold out for NON-marquee opponents. hUh.

Miami is an International city with a lot of things to do on a Saturday afternoon. Whereas the SEC is all rural and rustic and what not. That goes for the vast majority of Big 12 and Big 10 campuses. hUh.

60k is far from a sellout! Unless I am missing how many people SLS holds..Thought it was about 78-80k?!

Again..last year at the FAMU game we had about 58k. And there was ZERO buzz going into the season besides Richt being the new HC.

This year we are ranked..new QB...Elite D...Second year with Richt which is always the "leap year" for new coaches...No reason for 55-60k to not show up. And its an early game..plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the labor day weekend.

There are currently 65000-67000 seats in hardrock. Getting close to 60K at a game vs bcu is very good for a private school

Is FAMU is a non-marquee opponent? Boston College?
