fins - more fans by a lot (remember all the gators and noles from miami are still fins fans not canes fans).Watching on tv it seems like the fins always have a much bigger crowd than the canes. For those who live down there, is that accurate and why?
I live in Michigan. Been to HRS for the canes. Only road games for dolphins.
Makes sense. Thanks.fins - more fans by a lot (remember all the gators and noles from miami are still fins fans not canes fans).
That’s something not mentioned enough that there’s probably more fans of other teams both college and pro - that live in SFL.Dolphins attract the whole area, Canes attract alumni and then those that don’t root for the schools up north
Yep. Happens every home game. Scan the stands when the Jets, Bills, Pats or other NE teams are there and you’ll see a bunch of their fans.A lot of terrible towels in that stadium tonight.
You’re comparing a school with 16,000 students to a NFL team with 10 times the fans are you kidding?Never got the argument that the Canes don’t draw crowds because there is so much to do in South Florida. Doesn’t make sense. if that were true, Hard Rock would be empty when the Dolphins played.
But the dolphins still aren't that good though. They were barely above .500 last year and 3-3 this year.Nah. When dolphins struggled the stadium looked like our attendance.
Rarely mentioned. It’s literally a newer city than most with teams in the NFL, and people want to move here. That’s something not mentioned enough that there’s probably more fans of other teams both college and pro - that live in SFL.
