Cig / IU playbook. Let’s stop playing not to loose and play to Win. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK…

Let’s Go Canes ! Go get it, no one is handing us anything!!!!
Mario has sat on the ball like 3 games before halftime from what I can recall when we could have had a chance to attack and close the half with points, UF, FSU and UL.

He plays too conservative and thats not gonna change

We do not have the dudes at either wideout or qb to do what IU is doing.
If we did we would’ve already been doing it.

And no, doing it against Stanford doesn’t prove it.

Until Dawson, the receivers, or Beck prove me wrong I’ll standby my statement.
Our offense has been designed to mask our inability to effectively throw the ball either consistently or when we absolutely need it.

All this Mario is too conservative talk is bs.
Mario wasn’t “conservative” last year because we had the dude that can do it.

Just made same comment in acc watch thread.. Also mentioned it weeks ago about shutting down entire operation for entire 4th qtr and how that mindset affects entire team.. Was told it didnt matter that ND came back and I was like it is not a good mindset..

When you see a coach who stays aggressive, you blow teams out and you get your young guy valuable reps in power 4 games to develop.. It matters ALOT.. The contrast is very easy to see..

Whole heartedly disagree. We absolutely have the dudes to do what they’re doing. We just don’t have the same offensive philosophy…

It’s a mindset, both on Offense & Defense. IU does not have a bunch of “dudes” - that is clear as day, they just get the max out of their talent and are very well coached and disciplined. It’s like a throwback to IU BOBBY NIGHT BASKETBALL.

It’s the same oc and head coach as last year and we had the number one offense.
We’ve played 6 games already and we tried to air it out we looked awful.

Idk why nobody is willing g to accept that we are what we are and we got figured out.

We are trying to burn clock and keep offenses off the field because we can’t score in bunches.

It’s not a philosophy. It’s a need.

We got the ball with 4 seconds for UL
We got the ball back vs FSU at our 8 yard lin3 with 45 seconds

Vs UF we dropped back to pass all 3 downs
Had to punt

Knight, sorry coach, I have a stupid IPhone.

Cig is an ******* but man he’s a great coach. What he’s done in the last 4-5 years at JMU and Indiana is about as impressive as it comes.

He also definitely knows the numbers each week and tries his best to cover for the boosters. Make no mistake, a lot of coaches know.
