aTm vs Auburn

Urban, I'm not buying at 58 years old. I could very well be wrong in that as at his peak, I think he was the top coach in the land. Had he stuck around UF or OSU, Saban wouldn't be the king the last decade and a half. The one thing he was truly great at was identifying what his players were good at and tailoring his offense to that.

Jumbo, that buyout will make even A&M money people's asses clinch up. They're in a pickle for sure if he doesn't get it going.

Who were the other candidates when TAMU went after Jimbo the 1st time? The guy doesn't have a creative scheme, He's always chewing out His QB, left FSU with the lowest APR in CFB, His key players almost always get in trouble...never understood the infatuation TAMU had with Him.

What exactly does Urban bring to A&M in 2022 that they don't already have with Jimbo, exactly?

- Enhanced recruiting? Jimbo brought in the #1 class last year, and has recruited well in general
- Schemes? Jimbo is going to have to hire a new OC anyway, so why would A&M spend $60M to buy out Jimbo, hire Urban...who will also need to hire an OC?
- Discipline?
- Culture?
If Urban has any juice in him, for a period of time, he will march and burn his way to another Natty.

Watch for Auburn as a spot for him.
