Athlons Very Early Preseason Top 25

I understand preseason polls, especially ones made before the previous season is even over are just conversation pieces but there's quite a bit on that list that has me scratching my head. The aforementioned USC ranking is one. Tennessee at 8? Really? Washington State in the top 25? I don't know, man. I really think there's a handful of teams that barring catastrophe, are locks for top ten. Everything else is just throwing darts.
 
USC has an insane amount of talent but they never live up to the hype they won't again. I truly think the Socal kids are just mentally weak, where kids in Sfla are hungry.

Ohio State is losing 9 underclassman to the draft, they won't recover from that imo.

FSU better hope Francois or Henry are ready to go because Maguire sure as **** isn't the answer, they won't win more than 9 games with him under center.

Tennessee is always over rated and I expect a 10 win season from them at the most, they are very suspect at DB if Sutton leaves early.
 
i don't like preseason polls period. they affect the end of the season way too much and can give certain teams unfair advantages. they should not really ranks teams until after 3-4 weeks into the season.

Wtf are you talking about?
They have had no depth because they were actually crushed with Scholly reductions. Usc will be back just like we will be. Socal kids are mentally weak? Smh just stop.
 
Hahahaha at UiF cracking that list. Half of their defense is gone and QB is at best again a big question mark. At best they're an 8 win team. Then again, these polls ALWAYS error on the side of throwing in too many $EC teams.

A lot of socal kids are divas and are hyped up to the point that they can't live up to it because they can't handle the pressure. South Florida kids thrive under that same pressure, or they are hungry because they are under rated.

Look at that and tell me they are not deep. Based on recruiting they have the 2nd most talented roster in CFB.

They will be back to what? They were supposed to be a playoff team this year? They might get back to a 10 win team, but they never live up to the hype since Pete Carroll left
