Maybe they think that we are actually getting to the point where we replace talent with talent?

Most people on here seem to think that there is no way we can improve QB and that just because we will be inexperienced at DT that means we will suck at DT. They disagree.

We dont even have a QB for '18. This is crazy.

And no D-Tackles.

We’ve got as good of a 2 deep at DT as almost anyone. We need some depth to spare those guys and just in case they get hurt. If they stay healthy we’re set. All assuming Ford (who barely qualified) and Willis (tons of problems) are eligible.

Gonna be high risk/high reward at DT next year. Arguably more talented starting lineup than we had this year. Same thing at DE. Our starting front 4 is possibly the most athletically gifted in the country

I guess I would rather be over rated than under rated for the sake of recruiting perception early in the cycle.

What evidence do you have of this? Ford saw limited action, Bethel is a nice rotation guy but is a tad undersized, Willis was on the practice squad and hasn't lived up to his rating out of high school and he's a fifth year senior next season. I love Nesta but he is still gonna have to get stronger to hang with college o-linemen. To me, you need to go three-deep at the D-tackle spot to compensate for potential injuries and fatigue. It's all about depth, people. You saw what happened when our injuries started to rack up at the end of the year.

Should have said as talented of a 2 deep. Staff calls Willis best DT on the roster including Norton and Mac and refer to Ford as being a potential future first rounder which was never said about Norton or Mac.

Mac was **** good in year 2 after not playing at all year 1, I’d expect the same or more from Ford. Also, we have to sign Silvera to even have a 2 deep. Without him we’ve only got 1.5 deep. Probably spoke too soon all around

I told dfagundo today we would be 6 to start the year next year. Bama and UGA would be 1 and 2 then Clemson and OSU and of course Aubrun would be 5 since they loveeeee to pump up the SEC.

80-3 vs Clemson the past couple of games. #5 is a joke. We are are a few off seasons of S&C away from any of that talk. Let’s beat Pitt with no problem.
