Athlon: LSU will beat Miami by double digits

“Talking to fans and writers across the country, the consensus is that the Hurricanes might be a little overrated heading into the 2018 campaign,” Scott wrote.

Solid reporting there, great sources for the piece!

Always good to quote those anonymous sources.

Should have said, "Talking to SEC homers and assclowns across the country, there is a Hurricane coming for us but we are either in denial or just a product of our low quality/quantity education and won't put the shutters up on our windows."

These people's shlt is about to get blown the fvck away.

"In the end, this will be another case of some SEC physicality getting the best of a more finesse team.”

Someone needs to show that quote to the team.

Athlon: LSU football will beat Miami by double-digits

All these articles are dumb as ****. Randy Cross did a segment and I was like “did he even research both teams???” I could give two ***** what the media thinks. It will be decided on Sunday.

the guy is an SEC homer. says we where overwhelmed in our last three games but the SEC homer says nothing about their loses to miss state, TROY, ND (a team we destroyed) and alabama.

"It appears that LSU may have found their answer at QB rather than a bandaid..."

Based on WHAT? Which of his 39 pass attempts in two years as a 3rd string, garbage time QB has this pole smoker so high on Burrow? He may turn out to be the goods, but he's never attempted a pass against a P5 first string defense or in front of a stadium that wasn't already empty. Now he's going to waltz into AT&T stadium in Dallas and roll Miami by 2 TDs?

"LSU is loaded with weapons on offense"

How many players on LSU's 2018 roster scored an offensive TD last season? ONE. ******* ONE.

This isn't analytical journalism. He's not basing this article on any proven quantity. This is, and I don't normally get on the "They all hate us" train, but that's exactly what this is. This is hate mixed with hope. This shlt stain despises us and hopes some way LSU will be able to beat us, probably because his team--Notre Dame would be my guess--got a lubeless fist ******* at Hard Rock.

You guys arent focused on the important part. They called us a soft team.

Nothing gets a chip on ones shoulder like calling someone soft.

Show it to the team.

I want to see a Robert Bailey style decapitation knockout on the opening kickoff.

The only thing that I'm worried about. Our team isn't used to that style of play. If we get overwhelmed and or Burrows is better than what most expect, it could be an L.

What style of play is that you're referring to??

Interesting all these talking heads say that Burrow is the "dynamic" answer and a plus for LSU, but Malik is the question and a major detractor for Miami.

They have young, high rated recruit, athletic skill position players on offense, but we have young untested talent in most offensive skill positions.

What the F is wrong with these SEC assclowns?
OSU fans were high on Burrow but he couldn't beat Barrett who was meh at best even as a 5th year senior. Then when Barrett went down, they went to Haskins instead of Burrow....

I think the chip on the shoulder and bulletin board stuff is just that, bulletin board stuff that doesnt mean ****. We are either gonna be ready or not, some disrespect aint changing that and rarely does. I believe we are ready. What sucks about this game is that LSU is a team in disarray and not ranked that high, but in terms of talent they are up there in the top ten. Our team will be challenged and hopefully is up to the task.

The Peter Burns guy is an LSU fan I believe, and the other guy just wants to see his name pop up on social media. There's no way Burrow, who's been on campus for 2 months, is going to have great timing with his WR core. 2 of those 4 are freshman playing in their first college game.

The only way we f*ck this up is turnovers, bad special teams, and anemic Rosier

This is the same bs rhetoric every idiot analyst was spewing before the Notre Dame game. Half these media idiots never played a down of football in their life. The majority of the other half hate The U.

Miami will put on another show in prime time.

Problem is Mannys coverages are so soft that it might just not matter that much ifbthe timing is a bit off.

Sounds like last year when we were 10-0 and still had numerous detractors who, unfortunately, were proven right.

Our defense is not. Our offense is though which plays into LSU's hand.

No it doesnt... LSUs defense is overrated af, they gave up 27 to Notre Dame and their offense is more “finesse” than ours.

They’re not going to be able to stop the run or pass against us... we are going to blow them out by the 3rd quarter

Just anther tool of the gamblers to get people to bet. They run most of these services.

I dont care what they think.

But the quote should be passed around the locker room just to add even more juice and motivation.

They need to come out even more physical than the ND game.

JJ4 Made mention of this yesterday is his post practice interview. No need to pass it around the locker room lol, Dey Know !!! Dey READY !!!
