prototype size and measurables for a safety

ehhh the 4.6 doesn't exactly scream safety. And I'm sure the boy is gunna get a lot bigger, I could see WLB or RB.

4.6 may not be ideal for FS, but I'll take that speed at SS anytime. His shuttle time isnt too shabby either.

In today's game you have to be an all-around safety. You gotta be physical and not be a liability in pass coverage.

Offenses can scheme to get the matchups they want, and you better be able to hold your own in all situations.

With tweeners like that, watch the film. Does he shed blocks effectively and show the instincts to sift through traffic and find the ball? If so, WLB. Does he show natural coverage ability, taking good angles, ball skills and reading the QB? If he has that then maybe you've got a plus sized safety. Sounds like this kid will have some film at any position being considered which should only help

He's still in HS. Matt Elam just ran a high 4.5 at the combine.

Comparing a combine time to a high school time is ridiculously stupid. If I remember right, Matt Elam was reported to run a 4.4 in high school.
