At This time last year

Except Richt didn’t run the i unless it was a fullback dive get a grip
Point is no matter the play call, offensive system, or play caller..if the oline is as sorry as ours was your gonna get a bad performance. If we don’t more consistent play upfront, we will see similar results next year. No matter a spread or pro/spread system

Perry was 6/24 for 52 yards against Pitt. That's absurdly bad.

He has shown nothing to suggest he'll be even an average QB here.
But according to this board when we loss our TEs and went “full spread “ he was so much better. He was missing throws and reads that whole game

I can agree with that but Richt play calling didn’t help either

I still want him to succeed, and want to see him get out of his own way.

I'm not as high on him as I was last year because I've seen him play. He has tremendous arm talent, but sometimes it appears the game is either too fast for him, or he just doesn't get it (but maybe that's on the Richts/Poor O-line). There was no sense of urgency when needed, he was eyeing down receivers/only going to his first read similar to Malik, and throwing way too many interceptions. There really wasn't all that much separation between he and Malik in the games I've seen him play in. What Kosi had in arm talent, Malik balanced out with his running ability/vision. The only reason I ranked him ahead of Malik was because he's younger, and has the room for growth. Malik is Malik....

Then you add all the off the field stuff...... It just doesn't seem like he'll be the one.

I want to see him bust his ***. Like shut down social media. Be the first one in the gym, last one out, and become the leader I know he can be. Even if its not here, this kid has the ability to be great. It hurts watching him do this crap.... He just hasn't grown up fast enough, and I know what that's like. Once it clicks for him (hopefully that's soon)... He'll be out of this world. But honestly it looks like he's lost his moment. We'll see though. I'm not behind the scenes. I don't know what steps he taking. Just know he's taking a lot of heat, and about to lose his job if Hurts or Tate or both come in.

Sorry for the long post.

Perry has shown exactly how to lose a starting QB position when you're the best QB available.

He isn’t a bust. He had Jon Richt as his position coach... that surely doesn’t help. I think you give him some the spring and fall camp with Enos he could be a really good QB. The talent is there. Comeback vs FSU

Combination of things, immaturity issues. Some of the things he posts just shows everything is not all there in his head. Then his play on the field was nothing to covet either

Perry was 99.9% of this boards savior at QB..I mean..WTF happened? I was never as high on his readiness as most, but did y’all lose faith after or b4 the sexting situation?

I think he was the savior until he proved how absolutely immature and irresponsible he is. We believed based upon his raw talent, but clearly between the ears, he’s not there.

I get what ur saying and I think he can improve under Enos, but every QB in that unit had Jon Richt as position coach. He had every opportunity to take over but couldn’t beat out Malik who was one of the worst QBs in a long time. He failed off field and he looked very shaky a lot of the times he got snaps

He's losing me with the way he continues to conduct himself even after he knows all eyes are on his social media. It just shows immaturity and lack of regard for the very fortunate position that he has worked to be in, and the opportunities that he could have if he committed himself to.

I would think proving yourself to critics and disbelievers by making the league is the most appealing option. He, however, rather prove to critics that he doesn't give a **** about them, and revealing he also doesn't give a **** about himself or his future either.

Lmao..are you saying Kyle weight was the last good QB at Miami..that’s the most nonsensical statement in this thread..and that’s saying something
Nope. In saying that we have said this since Wright was on the sideline.
