If they were smart the would just call a couple dozen of the posters on this board. It is manifestly clear that those 'knowitalls' on here could lead their program 'on the cheap'!

They certainly aren't calling anyone on the Miami coaching staff.

You tried to start a clever thread but made yourself look silly. No one here claims that we could win a championship, but we know that plenty of coaches out there could at least win the Coastal; they just aren't employed by the University of Miami. That's what we hope to change.

I think USC is looking at the NFL this time and USCe may go for a SEC guy. Hopefully we can still get either Herman or Fuente. If one those two schools look elsewhere it will be good for us

Unfortunately for us, This Admin will have UM picking from coaching scraps by the end of the year. When these other programs will already have offers on the table and just waiting (and probably not very long) an answer, UM will only just begin putting the hiring apparatus together.

Our only hope is that one of the good coaches decide to wait on these dipsh*ts because of the talent that is already on the team. Usc is the only competition in that regard.

The rumor mill on the VT boards is saying that Flubberneck will announce his end-of-season retirement after their Duke game, this week.

That would be an interesting opening ...

Their AD is the AD who took Tubberville from Texas Tech. I wonder if he would want a move to the ACC?

Rich-Rod seems to also be angling for a return to the East Coast, with his recent gripe about games times to the PAC-12.

But the obvious choice would be to promote Bud Foster ...

Bingo, and you could see it coming from a mile away.

As I've said before, I wouldn't be so ****ed if I thought we had ANYBODY with the common sense to see a Butch revival as the best possible plan from all angles...but we don't.

All that leaves is a bloated expensive coaching search for the next economically viable hall monitor once all the bigger names have already been approached and decided to take new gigs or stay put.

Their AD is supposedly buddies with Rich Rodriguez.

I agree but the reason will be the incompetence of our administration.

If they fire Al we can count on a chicken without a head style coach search.
