This was such a great game for the young Canes to experience. They got up 10-2 and absolutely relaxed.

There is no letting up in baseball, whereas in other sports you can simply run out the clock, in baseball you've got to finish the game. They clearly were feeling good about themselves and they got to learn the lesson without the pain of the actual loss (unlike last year).

I liked the Lala/Jenkins transposition in the batting order - they both were on base several times. Who made the defensive miscues that Gino alluded to?

Where is the evidence that they "absolutely relaxed"? The truth is that the bullpen got lit up.
