At Boston College, what 3 plays do we run?

some tricky pistol look into a shotgun spread formation where we run up the middle

couple 4 verticals.... uh actually like 25 4 verticals

and

a FB dive up the middle

Runs right into a crowd of 40 for 1-3 yards, vertical routes that get picked or batted away, and balls being thrown 50 yards into the crowd if Rosier plays.

1st down, smash RB into 10 man front pile 29 times for 3.5 quarters until desperation sets in.
Anyone know the other two for 2nd and 3rd and long, all while looking half asleep on sideline?
I guarantee if it is 3rd and 1 we run the same fullback dive. Even if we try again on 4th and 1, it will be the fullback dive.

1st down: slow developing run play for 1 yard gain
2nd down: slow developing run play for 2 yard loss
3rd down: low percentage deep ball thrown to Thomas in double coverage. Incomplete.
4th down: punt

Mix in a few sacks and lazy vertical routes and that is our offense for most of the game

I expect a L vs BC, said that would be a tough game at the beginning of the year now it looks like an up hill battle at this point.

1st Down: run into Gauthiers ***

2nd Down: run into Guathiers *** (supposed to be run into Mahoney's *** but the DT launched him back so quickly after the snap that it altered the RB's path. Mahoney grades out at a 95 for stumbling backwards with fantastic technique.)

3rd Down: 4 verts...what else? Thrown 10 yards out of bounds of course.

4th Down: Shanksville baby!!

The BC fan base is funny. They will be rabid at the start, but they have always had this sense of the inevitability of their football team losing. As soon as their opponent gets up on them it’s like, oh well, we’re here for the education anyway. Of course, the way to instill that is to get up on them early, which Miami isn’t doing much of these days. Thus, I think we are in for a frustrating evening.

1st and 10: run out of the pistol on an 8-9 man front. TFL
2nd and 11: incomplete out pattern
3rd and 11: BC drops 7 and Perry/rosier gets sacked

This will happen on several occasions.

The other likely sequence is:

1st and 10: run out of pistol, gain 5 yards
2nd and 5: run out of pistol, gain 3 yards
3rd and 2: FB dive stuffed for no gain
