It’s very funny because it’s clearly not just me that values athleticism if you look who we currently recruit…. Yet look who we actually play? What LB has actually been developed here under Mario?

Toure wasn’t developed here, and is a 8th yr guy. Chase Smith is average and I guess was developed here but also is a whatever yr guy now…. It’s ridiculous.

Maybe we will say Marcelin has been developed. Wes was solid…. But like the development at Lb has been a complete **** show this far. It’s undeniable.

If you asked anyone in preseason if Wiley, Pruitt, and Bonner would legit combine for ******* no snaps essentially halfway into the season…. What would everyone be saying about this? The fact we can’t even get them reps is disgusting imo. Any hope they start anyone’s else was basically out the window game 1 for me tbh… but I’m talking even getting reps!


As far as Marcelin being more athletic than Toure/Smith… yeah maybe. But he’s also significantly smaller. I mean obviously best case scenario is he’s like Denzel Perryman part2…. Idk how anyone can be confident in Heatherman and what we do at LB though. It was THE #1 clear by far weakness of our team last yr. And this yr our current lbs are possibly the worst 2 pass coverage pairing we’ve started here at min under Mario, and we literally don’t play anyone else. They play favorites period. We need a Portal LB, cause at this point I don’t think Wiley, Pruitt, or Bonner return. Id say odds are greater that ALL 3 leave than even 1 returns. Wiley returning is probably most likely, but that’s cause he actually fills the role Toure plays clearly the easiest/best

But I'd have to agree with Cali on this. Not necessarily bonner because I don't think he'll even be back more than likely but marcellin will definitely start next year. Heathermans already shown that.

I would think Pitt and maybe some of the other ACC games may allow a little breathing room to get some other kids some snaps.

ND I doubt we see much rotation but other than that. I would think there are series available to get some guys rest and others some reps .
