2027 Aston Whiteside, OLB/SS Receives an Offer



– Texas A&M commit Aston Whiteside was at Miami over the weekend, and it sounds like the Hurricanes put themselves in a tremendous spot to flip the Burleson (Texas) Centennial linebacker. The Aggies landed Whiteside in early June, but Miami has been making a heavy push over the past few months and hosted Whiteside over the weekend in Coral Gables, Florida.

Whiteside extended his visit into Sunday, spending quite a bit of time with the coaching staff. Several sources have indicated to 247Sports that they believe Whiteside will eventually end up a Hurricane, including a source close to the player.

No, Marcelin WILL just start next yr and he's definitely still the least athletics and smallest of all the recruits.... What probability you giving us to retain Wiley and/or Pruitt? Lmao. Pruitt would be a complete fool to return here.

Marcelin and Bonner probably start next yr.

You actually don't think Heatherman wants better athletes at the position? Those two obviously are lacking in some parts of the game or they would be on the field. Maybe they can't communicate well or maybe they miss assignments. **** like that costs you games. In fact the emphasis on athletic linebackers in this class proves my point on what we want vs what we can play.

Yeah that's a load of bull**** man. We only play 2 lbs. And the 3rd is 100% Marcelin. Period.
At some point you are what you keep showing me. We refuse to develop the more talented LBs. We refused to all last season. We refuse to give a single **** about them being significant pass coverage liabilities. Entering this year would you have said it'd be a fail on this staff if Wiley/Pruitt/Bonner or any of the frosh weren't developed? IF I told you the only 2 lbs that would be playing 90% of snaps were Toure and Chase Smith would you call that a coaching masterclass in development?

Hmm, and the solution is what to just never develop and play the other LBs, even while our CURRENT Lbs are making potential game costing mistakes? lmao, Keep burying your head in the dirt man. How do you expect Wiley, Pruitt, Bonner to play to end the season and potentially playoffs if they can't communicate or may miss assignments enough to even get useful reps in easy games or never get ANY reps in medium/harder games?
