2027 Aston Whiteside, OLB/SS Receives an Offer

Aston’s father, much like the father of recently offered blue-chipper Tae Walden Jr outta Tennessee, played for a college head coach who is currently on FSU’s staff.

Chris Thomsen, the current deputy head coach and Tight Ends coach, was the HC at Abilene Christian University when Aston & his cousins were there.

Something to monitor if the OV schedule shuffles more moving forward.

UK and A&M have SEC appeal; UK has longevity in his recruitment and have a bright future. Travis Williams @ A&M and Hetherman have been showing a lot of interest.

Miami just finished a dominant year and he has been building a healthy relationship with Coach Hetherman
 
He has never visited A&M; and will do so for the first time on his OV this weekend.

Seems like communication with Travis Williams just picked up as of late ….. A&M offered Whiteside on November 20th however the people to offer him were UK’s DC Jay Bateman and UK nickels/stars coach Gibson; who both went from College Station to Lexington. Bateman took the UK job in December yet remained with A&M for our CFP matchup.

Big fan of Glover and I believe we need to take 3 LBs this cycle; with the way Hetherman is recruiting, it appears we will do just that.

Best case scenario we secure a commitment from one of the 3 blue-chippers: Glover, Henderson (long shot ofc) or Mayfield then one of the speedy LBs/‘traits’ safety converts in Drew Williams, Aston Whiteside, Jeremiah Proctor, or Kaston Lewis.

We offered Darrian Tomlin outta KY recently so we’ll see if sets up an OV.

Bro my bad im just seeing this WOW huge fumble by me meant to link his junior film but i see it now.

He could be a stud he has some tools on his belt now that can turn to a box workbench or shop if he's coachable and wants to develop.
