What Caveman needs is someone to actually coach during the game, would be great if he ( Caveman ) sat upstairs and put in his two cents from up there. He could use some Headsets with no one on the other end.
I am sooooo tired of his bull**** on game days just knowing he is going to do something stupid.
He walks up and down the sideline looking like someone stole his lunch money yet clapping his hands like a glorified cheerleader. Is that really the playbook he has stuffed in the front of his pants that he never takes out.
My suggestion is hire Ed Orgeron for 5-7 million and let him be the Gameday Coach/ Assistant Head Coach.

Something small but I think is an indication of his illogical thought process and inability to look in the mirror and say this is not working, I’m putting my team at a disadvantage.

Despite how good the team start, as the season goes on teams adjust. I say this bc teams have adjusted how they defend our running game and tight formation. Started to target our mid C and LGs. Tight formations puts them at a huge disadvantage. Running game was def better last year, but that’s bc Carpenter and Rivers were better.

Also another small thing, C recruiting has been absolutely trash. SJ might be athletic but I doubt he’ll get pt here. If he does get pt here, the condense formation will only hurt him. Not many 6’1 Cs out there.

I joked about this with my son this morning. No way it could ever work but Mario in the recruiting and CEO office, Dan Mullen in the coaching and Xs n Os office. Mullen on the sidelines for games, Mario hanging with recruits, donors and admin during games.

That’s when Dan needs to get involved, would be a lot cheaper than firing him.
****, it could be a trend setter.

If most of the penalties are coming from the OL, then Mirabal needs to go. Dawson needs to go as well, but due to different reasons.

The CEO route is the only way for Mario. Handle recruiting, roster building, securing more NIL, figurehead, etc… he’s elite at that.

Everything on gameday should be run by assistant head coach and staff
