Randy did not "suck" as a DC if that's what you're implying, and that revisionist history is asinine.

So you’re telling me he’s the reason all the 5 star players played to their potential? Lol. Tell me why he sucked at UF and UCF then?

MAde some good moves so far but gotta wait and see. Richt had folks on here talking about him go coming to Miami had rejuvenated him and being fired motivated him, mf proceeded to retire a few years later lol

Same thing happened with Golden also. The talk about how this is Miami and the expectations should be championships and nothing else. The country club of Coker and Shannon were over, there was gonna be accountability now. Golden has a track record of identifying players because Wilkerson went 1st round and he went 8-4 when his starting QB was injured, and it was Temple for fvcks sake, he turned them around. All in all, Golden ‘just gets it’

There were a few dissenters just like now but most were chugging the kool aid. Bottom line is we will know rather quickly with Manny. He has more than enough talent and has been around on the defensive side of things. We won’t need to 3 years to figure out if this will work or not.
Al could never get it through his thick skull that the kind of kids he was recruiting at Miami weren't what you recruit for Temple and Penn St and worked, especially on defense, in direct contrast to the skill set of FL HS athletes. He didn't have the personnel to run a 3-4 but he insisted on it anyway, so quick explosive DEs like Chickillo got turned into bloated sluggish 2-gap guys and athletic ball-hawking corners and safeties got to play way off the line and read and react to everything. He did manage to turn over the talent level though and left Richt something to work with, which is largely why we had some success his first two years.

He didn't suck at UF. Both years there their defense was top 20. Their offense was as putrid as ours was this year and their defenses kept them in games. Do you even watch college football? Yup, UCF's defense sucked this year. I guess you win there.

It started with Georgia, when the unit surrendered 393 yards and 42 points to the Bulldogs. It continued against Missouri, when the yards swelled to 455 and the points were bumped up to 45. It marked the first time since 1917 that the Gators allowed 42 points or more in back-to-back games.

Nah he’s good though nothing to see.

***** winning recruiting, win on the field.
We have screwed winning recruiting for the last 15 years. Hasn't gotten us anywhere. Win on the field recruiting will follow. Keep thinking we can win with South Florida 3 stars lol.

We absolutely can if we had good coaching in Both sides of the ball. Why the **** do yo I think UCF and Boise state put up W’s so much. You think they have better talent than us?

10 wins next year with wins against Ufag and FSU is realistic in his first year...

and win the **** bowl game please
As of the moment, who's the Qb that on the roster that leads you to 10 wins, the soft producer or the two that have never taken a snap in a
college game?

Since Butch Davis, we have been screaming for a killer as our head coach. Coker, Shannon, Golden and Richt we are nice guys that the media loved nor were polarizing. Well in Manny's first two weeks he fired the entire offensive staff whom he had worked with for 3 years on new years eve, told a star player who quit on the team to go bleep himself and is cutting the fat from the Golden days still while entertaining high profile transfers. He's throwing an unacceptable "7-6" in our players faces reminding them daily of what isn't okay. So far, this trait alone is everything this program has missed the last 18 years. Let there be some fear that goes around that locker room and letting players actual value their roster spot instead of feeling that entitlement that leads to losing being acceptable. For all of those crying that "the talent" of Jeff Thomas denied back on the roster are part of the problem that just don't get the value of culture. That situation was the perfect example to set the tone for the returners and recruits that if you want to wear that uniform you better do it their way on not have a personal agenda. Thomas Brown eluded to this during the season yet a weak manager in Richt let Thomas the employee do things on his terms where Manny the manager took the initiative to control things as he should doing it on his terms not the employees on Thomas'. You wanted an assassin for 18 years and now you have one.
