Every conference has middle of the pack and bad teams. ACC has less elite teams but more middle of the pack teams.
South Carolina for instance is the mighty SEC but their last three games are all losses to ACC schools two of which were ACC coastal teams.
The difference? When UGA beats USCe nobody will whine about a lowly opponent but when we beat UNC, it will because “it’s just UNC”.

Our "talent advantage" over the rest of the ACC (ex-Clemson) is not what some of you envision. Our OL recruiting alone should tell you that. Start adding in the whiffs at DT, CB, it sets us back even further. We can certainly win every game on the schedule, but we're going to have to play, and coach, a heck of a lot better football than we have in years. We were sloppy against the 'turds, play that way again and we're going to lose football games.
