ASA College

I think it's fairly new (like 2013 kind of new) and the RB from American Heritage-Delray, Greg Bryant from the 2013 class, goes there and just committed to UAB.

Brand new program.

They should dominate the JUCO ranks very soon if they can put a lil' something together. The state of Florida sends so many kids to JUCOs every year, and normally those JUCOs are in podunk towns in the middle of GA, PA, NY or Kansas. ASA should be able to grab all of those kids. The hard part will be keeping those kids out of trouble.

Here are the guys who were D1 bound at one point, and some other interesting ones. Not sure any of them are Miami caliber except maybe Bryant, Matthews, and Belfort. ALthough Belfort's offers were all self reported so who knows if he actually had them. It was also odd that
Martin had an offer from GT, but it was his ONLY offer. So who knows.

1. Eric Harrell (3 Star) signed with Bowling Green out of HS. Class of 2013.
2. Lyndon Edwards (0 Star) signed with FIU out of HS. Class of 2011.
3. Greg Bryant - Former ND running back that transferred to ASA after getting suspended and now is committed to UAB.
Bonus - Kimbo Slice's kid, Kevin Ferguson from BTW. Kimbo Slice's son, Kevin Ferguson II, says of father, 'He's a cool dad': Kevin Ferguson II says of father Kimbo Slice, 'He's a cool dad' - tribunedigital-orlandosentinel (Just threw that one in for fun)
4. Qwad Martin (2 Star) had an offer from Georgia Tech out of HS at Park View Community HS. Class of 2014.
5. Ravonne Carter (3 Star) committed to and enrolled at New Mexico out of HS. Class of 2010.
6. D'Ronzjiah Matthews (3 Star) reportedly had offers from Miami, South Carolina, FAU, Arizona, Minn, UNC, UCF, and USF: D'Ronzjiah Mathews Recruit Interests. Class of 2014 out of South Fort Myers HS.
7. Malique Belfort (0 Stars) reportedly had offers from Mich St., Az State, Temple, Boston College, and Nebraska. Class of 2013.

Matthews wanted to go to UM but the offer wasn't committable. At least that's what i got from it

Seems like they have a lot of lower tier D-1 kids right now. I'm sure they'll be getting the bigger kids soon.

They kinda eased them into the JUCO ranks with that easy schedule, which is good. (I only recognize 2 established JUCO programs on their schedule) If they had to play Lackawanna, Butler, and other established JUCO's with THAT roster there they'd probably get their a$$es kicked every week and they'd have a hard time getting kids to buy in.
