As if the weekend couldn't get any worse

Put my pittie down 2 years ago. Best dog ive ever had. I still ******* miss that dog.
 
This broke my heart worse than Saturday did.
I had to put my Cain down 10/7/21 from cancer, and im still fvcked up about it.

Thoughts and condolences are with you, brother.
From that pic alone, I can tell he lived a nice and happy life with you until the very end.

Words don't heal much, but if I can offer any sort of unsolicited advice, it's simply to cherish the fact that yall both had eachother for the time that you had. Death sucks. And losing bonds/connections, whether it be from an animal or a human, is ******* harrowing..and there ain't nothing that can dismiss that fact...but the most we can do is pay the kindness we've given one forward to the next, when the time is comfortable for such.

Definitely two of the most difficult days of my life… no question… I wasn’t home for the first one and it happened fast… I still have regrets although I know there was nothing I could do…

Then putting down my man’s best friend…if it wasn’t a mobile vet death dealer during COVID, no ******* way I could have driven there and back… and my guy took it easy on me and was ready at the end…

******* rough! 🐾

My condolences, losing a dog like that IS losing a family member and a best friend. Time heals wounds but I’m truly sorry for the loss.

There aren't words for this kind of loss, but when you have a dog that gives love back, it hurts to say goodbye.

I'm very sorry for your loss.
