After transfer and tragedy, D'Eriq King finds his way back onto the field
His transfer to Miami from Houston was not an easy decision, but for D'Eriq King, it was a necessary move.

Don’t justify explaining #6 to nobody! Be ‘Cane about your business; dont give a ****!Just read it. I’m spending the next few months preparing my argument for why this Natty DOES count as number 6. A dude with a hunger and mentality like that is hard to beat.
Just bring up the 1941 National Championship that Alabama claims. And they didn't claim it until the 1980's.Just read it. I’m spending the next few months preparing my argument for why this Natty DOES count as number 6. A dude with a hunger and mentality like that is hard to beat.
Head Coach?Let me ask everyone just 1 question.
What position can single handily change an entire team into a contender? It's also no coincidence that we haven't had a great one of these in over a decade.
Oh I guess there is 3Head Coach?
Athletic Director?

I thought about the cliffs notes but I thought it was very much worth the full read. Sounds like a great young man!I usually like to do small cliff notes for articles as a lot of people don't like to click the link, but I encourage everyone to read the full story. Very nice piece on King and all he has gone through the last 11 months. Even more pumped for him tonight.

I've read a couple of articles about his story - most notably by Cristy Chirinos. D'Eriq has overcome a lot to get to this point and I hope he has much success - not just so our Canes will benefit from his success, but mainly because he's very deserving. After transfer and tragedy, D'Eriq King finds his way back onto the field
