As disappointing as the season has been

Maybe I’m missing something but Pitt defense is not good.

Their offense is one dimensional and I like our DB’s over their WR’s.

I honestly think we’ll win by 2 scores. We match up well with them.

They have the 3rd best scoring differential of any team in the country.

If you can poke a hole in anything, it's their schedule. UMass, Tennessee, Western Michigan, New Hampshire, GT, VT, and Clemson. And they're 31st in the country in YPP against FBS teams. So their offense has been good, but not incredible.

They've been pretty good all year. It'll be a tough game. They're very well rounded....not elite in any one thing, but they're pretty good at just about everything. The only thing I really see is they don't run the ball exceptionally well, and Pickett will run but he's not incredibly dynamic. MAYBE we can keep the run slowed down and force him into a couple mistakes. Pickett has a 23/1 TD to INT ratio. He's due for a couple thrown to the other guys. And holy ****balls are we due to actually catch one on defense.

Correct; they r not an exceptional run team, so we should keep them pretty one dimensional, but the dimension they r good at, we suck at.

Numbers don’t tell the full story.

If I’m wrong…I’ll own up to it. Let’s see how the game play out but as of now I stand on what I said.

I stand by it, said it before the season. All these games will be nail biters. Pitt gave up over 40 to some Western or Central Michigan. Our Canes should be right in the mix. Lets root them on

[/QUOTE yep i agree i watched some this game and pitt handled clemson.even though clemson dropped an easy *** touchdown pass by the running back and could've made this closer.

Their schedule is definitely something that makes you question their status as a good team and their overall lofty stats. Their opponents combined win/loss is 23-28. Miami's is 35-16. We have definitely faced a far more challenging schedule and to be honest, it is not even close. They definitely have the advantage in coaching, so that is huge, but I think this game is far closer than what most think.

Should be a tight game Pitt has looked really good against a mostly horrible schedule but I think they’re a legit top 25 team. Miami’s offense can score on them but their defense can’t stop anyone so it should be a high scoring affair at the least.

As disappointing as this season has been....

It could get better.🤔........It could get worse 😠

I have absolutely NO IDEA...NONE. 🙄

All I know is that Manny's teams are consistently INCONSISTENT

That's NOT a good quality to have and it inhibits creating or developing.a good team.

ANYONE who tells you that they KNOW which Miami team will show up for Pitt or any other game the rest of the season....IS LYING

And yet the total has dropped a point and a half since opening. Last week I told everyone here to take the over, it opened 52 which seemed WAY too low to me and I think it got up to 55 before kickoff and obviously still went well over that. This week opened at 63.5 and has dropped to 62. I probably won't touch that, I could definitely see this being a game in the 50s.

Whoops...didnt mean for this to be a debate...there is no debate...Canes cover, no question....take the points and come thank me after the game
