I just googled "edinging out." Interesting. Back in my day, we called that squeeze and please so the girl would come back another day. I feel for Irv.

I'm not sure how it started, but several fellow alum pals and I are on a text thread during our games as I imagine a lot of you guys do. At some point in the last 8-10 years, during one of our lackluster seasons, one of the homies dropped a "Imma F this potato salad to take out my frustrations." I think it was during the Al Golden era. Anyways, the phrase stuck and we have expanded our repertoire to all side dishes, although squishy sides are preferred.

We have a thing at my stepfathers house where the living room has a sliding wooden door between the living room and the kitchen. Twice (or possible more now that I think about it) in the history that I've watched games with him, my mother has opened the door to ask my stepfather a question, and when she did, an opposing player caught an interception, and in another instance, one of our players fumbled the ball.

So she doesn't come in the living room during gametime.

I think her and my stepfathers marriage of 25+years can be mainly contributed to her not opening the door at the wrong time.
 
Yes to almost all of them.
When we were in the OB I’d get so anxious I’d leave my seat and stand and watch the crowd come in from below the upper deck, then stand in the tunnel during the anthem and not sit my seat until they came out of the smoke.

No, but I have gone into threads on CIS and then sometimes everything goes wrong.

It appears my jynx has been vicariously transferred to fsu. I was at a bar watching Uva beating the noles. 14-0 Uva when I left the bar. Get home and it's 14-14. Take a **** and grab a beer from the fridge...noles 21-14. Sit on the couch, watch Uva drive and score. We live in a simulation. There is no spoon.

I forget which ones, but there definitely have0 been some when they were doing well, then I tuned in and things went south
