South Florida was poorer, more dangerous and less connected back then.

You were more likely to die in a car accident, plane crash, by gun violence.

I don’t really miss the Miami of my youth very much. The 50s were just a different time. Not better or worse IMO, just different. Anyway, new memories are made every day.
