@DMoney and whoever attended practices.
Is this Specimen that far away in his development that he can’t be a serviceable #4 DT? Has he been injured?
This has been jogging my mind. He doesn’t need to get stronger so I’m thinking it’s technical hand usage and leverage. This will be second season in the program. I’m sure he can be coached up and become a serviceable #4 with reps.
I would hate to see him to portal out with his physical profile.

Exactly…This isn't 1997 anymore. 2nd yr players, whether they were redshirting or not. Are competing for 2 deeps or even higher even on some of the best teams in the nation

It’s Perfect Timing! No need to get nervous, this is the era.
After we bring in another young portal player with no experience to be the #4 tackle and Jones hits the portal are we gonna talk about it then.
He’s a jag
Off field
Work ethic
Etc
When we recruited this kid we were excited about his potential. Barring injury I find it hard to believe that this kid can’t be a solid #4 tackle. Kids need snaps to develop, seeing yourself on film making mistakes has proven to be an excellent teaching tool. I like the developing our own method.
I just want to know if he plays like Jane in practice.
