He was better than the other 3, but I never was that impressed with Stoutland. I honestly am a little surprised by how much much the job market likes him. (Getting hired by Alabama and the Eagles, and then getting retained by the Eagles after Chip Kelly’s firing.)
I thought that Crystalball was a pretty good offensive line coach in 2006, although not a great one. (Which doesn’t mean I think he’d be a good hire at head coach-make no mistake.) However, none of the Bama fans liked Crystalball, which makes me think that I was only impressed by him because I was comparing him to Keyhole.
