So the new Century started in 2001 not 2000??? A week from Wed won't start the new decade??? And if we're going by A.D. standards , 1 A.D. would be one year after death which would make the year of death year 0.....

I’d like to see him fired. We shouldn’t be guessing on what a coach might be able to do with elite talent.

I’m so sick of this talent crutch. We have signed a bunch of 4 star OL, and Bytch Fairy gets nothing out of them. Two of the biggest thrashings his OL took were from CMU and FIU. How long till he can acquire enough talent to handle those 2 juggernauts?

P. S. He’s a garbage recruiter on top of it so good luck waiting on a line full of Orlando Paces to rescue him.

He is a horrible recruiter and he should be fired along with Enos.

I just don’t think it’s fair to judge him coaching wise on what he did this year.

We will have to agree to disagree.

LoL here we go with the bashing of another Cane Great, who by the way, is the only Cane with all 5 national championship rings. Its asanine to bash em, you dont be apart of 5 national championships, with 4 different headcoaches and cant coach, no logic to that at all. Those who say kehoe was only good because of the talent, lol, must of just started watching UM football during his last tenure. The man has put countless o-linemen in the nfl, at UM and at whatever Mississippi school he coached as well. The o-lines started looking like trash when in conjunction when the offensive scheme and qb's started being trash, it's only so much coach kehoe and but h barry can do with morons calling the plays.

Way off base with what exactly? You dudes are really clueless about UM football. He was part of the John L. Smith failed staff that were told they were being fired 3/4ths into the season.

He had 2 OL drafted in his entire tenure at Michigan state..both 7th rd draft picks.

He’s parlayed that into the NFL. I never would’ve imagined it.

Think you have his story confused with Kehoe...Pretty sure shannon bought in stoutland from mich st. where he did some good things.. great hire by shannon, he was made interim hc here when shannon was fired and then was supposed to be kept on staff I think but then got bama gig.. parlayed that to NFL..

Kehoe both times let go spirals to unemployed.. he is one where miami hired off the street

I know what I’m talking about...it’s you whose clueless. Stoutland came from a miserable John L. Smith staff where he only had 2 OL drafted in 7 seasons.

I see none of you have challenged me on how many sacks his OL gave up in comparison to Kehoe...that’s telling.

Can someone check those stats please? Lolol

Stoutland was excellent. Best assistant not hired by Butch since Butch left. We use to be stepping stone to NFL coaching, now the only reason our coaches get hired is by college looking for some local high school contacts. JJ and Butch had many assistants end up HC in NFL, then again they were heading to NFL themselves so they hired guys who could help that climb. Now we hire HCs who peak before there last job.

This man knows his football, when you got people claiming to be UM fans bashing coach kehoe instead of giving him the respect he deserves and the work and confidence he helped to instill in not just o-line players, but the overall team, that's when you know the majority of these new UM fanbase have gone in the toilet, and its useless talking to em. They're choosing to be morons, the case can easily be made that coach kehoe is among the Greatest o-line coaches to come thru college football, when people talk about tgat 2001 team as being the Greatest, how did that o-line look that year. When we talking bout "runningback U" who's coached o-lines were those guys running behind all those years. When coach kehoe came back, i said prior to the season, watch how the big running plays consistently start coming back. This is the mistake that coach richt made, should've let by gones be by gones, but coach richt doesnt pretend to like people that he doesnt, but had he said, let's reset and for the Love of this program get this thing rolling, we would've definitely been on our way up, with the 3 headed monster of coach rumph, kehoe and coach richt, sprinkled in with coach diaz, and now we can officially add coach banda from just his actual understanding of how come we had those dominant teams, cause he understands the essence of the Miami community environment, we would've definitely started making alot of noise. Cause players luv to be coached by proven guys that have actually played the game as well.

Its no disrespect to the coaches who havent, but if anybody ever played football, they know exactly what im talking about. You got people complaining about coach kehoe recruiting in Canada, lol, just when you thought you done heard it all, SO WHAT, the question is did he get guys that produced at a high level, that's all that matter, and what's real important is, Miami never were followers during the Dominant years, so kehoe going and getting guys out of Canada exemplified exactly that, leading the way, plus it was very smart, didnt have to compete with bags in Canada, True Canes are everywhere! Talking out the side of their neck as if Haji-Raasouli and brett romberg were chop liver, ****'s be criticizing the wrong things, and just talk just to be talking, which leads me to believe alot of people in here are trying to fake like they UM fans and are just bandwagoneers, or we just got gaytors posting in here to try and stir up the pot, cause real Miami fans know football and are not that ignorant! When coach kehoe was here, o-line recruiting was not a problem and he made no excuses, just went and got guys. Probably never heard or read nowhere where coach kehoe use the, "we are young mentality" as a reason for under performing. He would just tell anybody and any oc, we'll be ready!

You win games by going into battle with guys like coach, he's not a nervous *** when playing in any environment, he's the last o-line coach we had that hasnt lost to the gaytors, even with the penn disgrace morons!
