Art Kehoe

Kehoe was a decent coach until he fell in heat and got pus sy whipped. Seemed to lose all focus in coaching when he got married

Look at our current line.

Forget the NFL, would any of these guys event start on College Playoff-level teams?

Kehoe had a line one year that consisted of Seantrel, Lindor, Flowers and Felicano.

All of those guys are still in the League.
Barry couldn’t coach guys to get out of their stance. Kehoe got an NFL line from Stoutland and drove it into the ground. What ever he once was, he stopped being a long time ago.

I’d want Jeff stoutland back now. he was great , a beast of a talent evaluator

Lol. Stoutland rotated lineman & I believe his OL gave up as many sacks as Kehoe did.

I’ll never forget him not having a job anywhere...anywhere..Miami picking him up off the scrap heat & him bolting for Bama a mere few years later & he’s parlayed that into a **** nfl coaching gig. Who would’ve ever thought..🤣🤣🤣

This isn't true. At all.

He had had a solid record prior to Miami and then was picked up by that lowly team called Alabama.

You're way, way off base here.

He was our best offensive line coach this decade.

Could you have imagined that in 2011-2012? For in case you’ve forgotten he was even less popular than Donofrio in those days.

Kehoe came from a fine family of plumbers. He missed his calling.

Barry is a toilet. What has he ever accomplished as an OL coach to give anyone any confidence in him? Zero pedigree. Zero accomplishments.

You are correct he doesn’t have any crazy accomplishments.

That being said, I’d like to see him have some legit talent to work with before I judge him.

Kehoe was a good guy and a loyal Cane. But, he was:

* a lousy technical coach. Eg Ereck Flowers was a great talent with terrible technique. Kehoe couldn’t help him.
* a lousy recruiter. Poor evaluator of talent and poor at persuading top talent to sign with the Canes. For some reason, he had a thing for Canadian OLinemen and landed a few good ones, eg Rasuli, Romberg, and Mercier. Otherwise, he was terrible.

The true measure of Kehoe’s talent? He has failed to land a job after he was fired here for the second time. No takers. In comparison, Stoutland is in top demand.

Please, no more nostalgia hires.

It's crazy, we have 3 former Cane coaches coaching OL in the NFL.

Stoutland has been in Philly for the last 6-7 years & the Eagles have one of the best OL's in the league.

Mike Sullivan has been with Tennessee since 2014 & the Titans are another team with a really good OL.

Brennan Carroll has been with the Seahawks for the last 4 years & they also have a pretty good OL, although in the past hasn't been as good as it is now.

Our OL struggles are compounded by the Offense we run, I believe once we wise up & become a Spread team we'll stop some of the hemorrhaging on the OL that plagues us every year.

But as long as we stick with the current offensive system we been running since the 90's, we're screwed.
