Yeah Shaq is about 230...lost some more weight...by far the quickest backer.. But still was the best at getting off the blocks...but it is a new era... he is not the biggest and strongest on the field...my fear was it was going to be a hard adjustment with the bigger linemen...to my surprise he adjusted quickly...
 
Had a meet and greet tonight..and i asked Byrd how he liked the Rump hire ... and i saw the excitement in his face before he could get a word out... He was like i talked to him today...he talked with all of us... he said Cook is coming.. he wanted to come already..but now we got coach Rump he is coming... I told cook we need him to stay home...he smiled but didnt respond..

Tyler Byrd is our best recruiter on staff lol kids definitely putting in the effort to get these kids here.

Nauta may have looked great over the rest of the day, but NOT in the two clips showed. He really looked stiff out of his breaks.

While I am not getting my hopes up...you have to also remember that we have a new staff in here. The days of Paul Williams and Mark Dno arguing in the living room of Tim Irvins dad about our scheme are over. Now it might take some time to flush the local mentality of our former coaching staff completely out of their brains, I trust that if anyone can do it, Mike Rumph can. He has the respect of the local community.

And furthermore, I trust Rumph completely when it comes to recruiting because he has been a coach and he has seen all of these local kids. He knows who can ball and who cant. And if he is on Cooks a$$ like this..then he knows this kid is a must get. I wont bet against him.
