I've been feeling like this as well, but there's a long way to go. He would have experience in Grace and Owens on either side of him. Being an EE certainly helps too.

Then why would he still be on the team? If it were that serious he would have quit football a couple weeks after it happened. He would have announced the he would never be able to play again. He's obviously at least planning on playing again.

Maybe it's a case like Gavin Hardin where a determination on his career wasn't decided until his body had an opportunity to heal.

All that said, Shaq will let everyone know who he is by EOD on Sat. Linebackers can really shine in a game like this.

Every defensive coach on staff has followed him on twitter and that was the first person Manny Diaz followed, even before any other coaches. I'm sure he is the biggest assignment on D to finish the recruiting class just like Ahmmon Richards will be on offense.

I have no inside info but I think there's a good possibility. He starts here as a sophomore at the latest. Who knows at FSU. I think with all the attention we give him the final few weeks he caves and stays home. Tough call though with all the central players at FSU though..

appreciate the response. hopefully that jan 19th visit changes his mind. sucks fsu has the final but we'll have to keep our fingers crossed.
 
Cook would absolutely kill it in Diaz's scheme. It is obvious, particularly given that he was the first person Diaz followed on twitter following his being announced as UM's new DC, that he is a priority in this class.

We got central kids here too, im wondering if the keir thomas situation might effect cook with them, i know he said otherwise but they kids BS reporters all the time

The rumph hire will huge . He can recruit , coach and help develop players . I don't see any is our dbs flipping with the gire if rumph .
