Here is the problem, we have fallen apart. Did you watch the end of last year? Did you notice a describable difference last Monday? The right new coach could be winning by the end of this year. The one thing Al has done is improve the talent level. The problem is that his coaching makes the players worse instead of better. The right new coach can reverse that and take advantage of the talent by aggression--something Al by nature cannot do. Al hire a couple good coaches his first year but they are gone. The ones left from that first year suck, but he doesn't fire them. Couple of the new guys are exciting but they are not enough. There comes a time when the product on the field says it all. That time was the VT game last year. The players have no faith in Al any longer and, at the end of 3 years, that my friend is the end.
