Arkansas State will save us

VT, FSU and UNC are all loses. Duke and Nebraksa are likely losses. Pitt, Cincy and Ark State could go either way. The only team I think we def beat is Virginia.

3-9 is very possible.
6-6 is likely I think.
 
Anyone who does not see that we have a coaching problem is in total denial. I was one of you, until last year's Bowl Game, and to me it is obvious that we have no identity on offense/defense/ special teams. We are as they say "to heavy for light work, and too light for heavy work." Bad offense, no method or rhyme to play calling, can't execute a bubble screen playing Yeshiva College. I think our defense is better with far more girth and talent up front, but when your coach has never beaten a good team in his entire coaching career what further info do you need to reach a conclusion? Trust your eyes, I do not think any objective Cane would say this is the kind of coaching and play which is consistent with our tradition. May be Ok at Temple, Rutgers, BC, etc. Not here.
 
Just the fact that we are discussing a possible loss to Arkansas State (which is very possible) speaks volumes about where this program is. A loss next week would seal the deal for Golden. I just don't think it happens.
 
**** Golden, **** D'Onofrio, **** Coley. **** Blake James and Donna Shalala if you want.

But if you root against UM in any game, for any reason, go **** yourself.
 
All these goddam boyscouts said the same **** during Randy's last year. "How dare you root against the team!" I'm rooting FOR the team by hoping this staff gets exposed to the point they need to be relieved. Al Golden is a recruiter only. He's Zook part 2. Now where the **** is our Urban Meyer?
 
I doubt UNC is a sure loss. They beat SDSU by 4 at home and tons of help. SDSU rang up over 500 yards of offense. SDSU threw a 100 yard pick 6 in the first half. Then SDSU had the ball 1st and goal on UNC 2 yard line with 25 seconds left and 2 timeouts. Instead of running (they had run all over UNC all night) on 1st and 2nd down, they threw a pick on 1st down. They handed the game to UNC. Their QB had already thrown 2 picks. It was just a horrid decision to throw on 1st down.

I think UNC was also trailing Liberty last week late in the 1st half or maybe early in the 2nd half.

Losers !!! bunch of losers!!!!! that threat should be deleted. I want Golden gone but man you guys are a bunch of losers to start a thread like that.
 
Miami could be as easily 6-1 heading to VT as they could be 3-3 or 2-4.

4 home games in the next 6, @GT who we absolutely own and @Nebraska who could barely stay on the field with an FCS school yesterday.

But yeah, whoo negativity.

There were a lot of things that didn't go their way but they showed a lot of maturity. They have to keep working and so do the other coaches and I. Ultimately we're responsible and we have to get into the film room and look at some things. Maybe rethink some of the things we're doing. We're going to get it fixed. It'll take time but it's coming. And that's not to take anything away from the Arkansas St. That's a good team over there. They have a lot of good athletes over there. If they were in our conference they'd be making some noise."
 
I'm sure Golden will cite having to play on 5 days rest two weeks before, plus the fact we had to immediately play a tough opponent in FAMU the very next week.

Blah blah blah, the cloud. Blah blah blah, freshman QB. Blah blah blah, Arky State is a tough opponent. Blah blah blah, not a conference opponent.
 
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Arkansas State beat us. That's how bad we are. We looked like a HS team out there yesterday. Gonna be a horrible year.

Wow, the ignorance of the people on this board is terrifying. No, he is not going to be fired NEXT WEEK. No, we are not losing to Arkansas State. No, we should not be rooting for a loss.

Some of you dudes suck. I wonder if you are as big of pu$$ie's in other aspects of your life.

We actually have some talent on this team. We will out talent Arkansas State and our coaches. It's all about the coastal opponents. That's where the losses probably start to pile up.

My new favorite team every week is whoever we're playing until this administration does the right thing.
 
I said it before. I want Golden gone too, but IF we fire him mid season it is a bigger dumpster fire.

Who is the interim coach? No D, Coley... no KEHOE!!! We are stuck with Folden until the end of the season like it or not. Just pray that a good coach sees the talent and wants this job.
